We are thrilled to announce our Fall 2025 Production for ALL AGES...
Disney's The Little Mermaid
Based on the famous Disney animated film and classic Hans Christian Anderson tale, this musical tells the story of a young mermaid who longs to explore the human world above.​​
This production is open to rising Kindergarteners through adults with different opportunities for each age group. Please see below for audition details...
Audition Information:
Youth Auditions​​
3rd-8th Grade
​
Dates: June 9th and 10th from 5:30 - 9:00 PM
Possible Callbacks: June 11th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM

These auditions are ONLY for kids interested in principal or featured roles.

For these auditions, you must prepare a pre-selected cut from the show and attend a dance audition.

Ensemble Only Option:
If you are in 3rd-8th grade and would like to do the show, but do not want to sing by yourself or audition for a principal role, you are more than welcome to participate in the sea creature ensemble without auditioning!

The ensemble placement auditions for kids will be held at the end of August.

K-2nd Grade
​
K-2nd graders will be part of our LOTUS Performance class. This is a hybrid class designed specifically for our youngest performers. This class will meet from 1-1:45 on Sundays during the rehearsal process. Kids in the class will learn a musical number from The Little Mermaid, which they will perform in the production. They will also spend time developing singing, acting, and dancing skills and playing creative drama games!

Teen/Adult Auditions:
Principal Role Auditions

Video Submissions
It is our STRONG preference that anyone interested in this production attend the in person auditions. However, if you are unavailable, you will have the ability to submit a video audition.
Video submissions MUST be submitted by the end of the day on Sunday, June 8th.
​
Please SIGN UP for the appropriate audition and the email with audition material will include instructions for video submissions.
Please note that EVERYONE is cast in this production - we do not make cuts!

Rehearsal Location: LUMI School of Musical Theatre
​Tech Rehearsals: Sunday, November 9th - Wednesday, November 12th (Times TBA)

Friday, November 14th at 7:00 PM

ALL actors cast in this production must be available for ALL tech rehearsals and performances.

Participation Fee:
Please note that there is a $375 participation fee for all 3rd-12th graders in the production.
Producing a full musical is costly, and the participation fee helps to cover rehearsal and performance space rent, production elements such as costumes, scenery, and props, as well as artistic team salaries.
Part of our mission is making the arts accessible to ALL. If the participation fee is a barrier for you/your family, please fill out our scholarship application. We are also happy to work out payment plans for anyone participating and you will discuss that with us once cast.
