This production is open to rising 3rd graders through adults - see below for audition and production details.

Auditions for this production will be held on the dates/times below.
These auditions are for PRINCIPAL/FEATURED ROLES ONLY.
Ensemble auditions will be held in late August.
Everyone will audition with material we provide - you will receive materials after signing up.

VIDEO SUBMISSIONS​
If you are not available to attend in person auditions, you may submit a video audition. Please notate on your form that you will be sending a video.
We STRONGLY encourage you to attend in person if at all possible.
If you cannot attend during the time scheduled for your age group, please reach out so we can arrange for you to come during the other time!
Video auditions are due by 12:00 PM on Sunday, June 7th.
Available Roles:
Rising 3rd - 8th Graders may audition for these principal/featured roles:
Young Fiona, Teen Fiona, Featured Fairytale Creatures (Baby Bear, Gingy, etc.), Young Shrek, Knights/Guards
Rising 9th Graders - Adults may audition for these principal/featured roles:
Shrek, Fiona, Lord Farquaad, Dragon, Pinocchio, Gingy, Featured Fairytale Creatures, Knights/Guards
*Rising K-2nd graders will also have an opportunity to participate in this production through our performance class - more info to come in late August!
After you sign up, you will receive an email with a link to audition materials and instructions.

Production Information:

Rehearsals: Sundays between 1-7PM, August 30 - November 8
Rehearsal Location: LUMI School of Musical Theatre
Please note that you will NOT be called for the whole time from 1-7.
Most people are called for 1-3 hours each week depending on size of the role.

MANDATORY ​Tech Rehearsals: Sunday, November 15 - Wednesday, November 18
Performance Dates:
November 19th, 20th, and 21st at 7:00 PM
November 21st at 2:00 PM

Tech/Performance Location: 9106 Bryant Farms Road

ALL actors cast in this production must be available for ALL tech rehearsals and performances.

Participation Fee:
Please note that there is a $350 participation fee for ALL 3rd-12th graders in this production.
Producing a full musical is costly, and the participation fee helps to cover rehearsal and performance space rent, production elements such as costumes, scenery, and props, as well as artistic team salaries.
Part of our mission is making the arts accessible to ALL. If the participation fee is a barrier for you/your family, please fill out our scholarship application. We are also happy to work out payment plans for anyone participating and you will discuss that with us once cast.
